The award honours a business or business person that deserves special recognition for their impact on enhancing the community through exceptional leadership in business practices, building or changing, champion of a project, fund raising endeavours, social change or community undertaking. Bruce's contributions to the Lethbridge business community and the community in general for 2009 went above and beyond what we expect of a business owner. Through his vision for Galko Homes and his Service to the building industry in Alberta Bruce has been recognized by the local Lethbridge Chamber as an example for other business owners and business to follow. The Business Leadership Award presented by the Chamber of Commerce is not an annual award, rather it is an award given to recognize special accomplishments in the business community.
